Our center was officially established and went into action with the publication of our regulation in the Official Gazette numbered 29296 on March 15, 2015. After the staff was appointed to our center, every Wednesday during the spring semester of the 2015-2016 Academic Year, a training program was implemented by English Language Education Lecturer Assoc. Dr. Hacer Hande Uysal.
In this training program, theoretical information about the psychological attitude, language, and English academic writing rules that should be taken into consideration when giving one-to-one writing training to the academic staff who will come to the center was given. In the application part, scientific publications in English published in leading journals in many disciplines were examined.
Our center has provided services to academic staff who wanted to receive free consultancy on Academic writing in English by appointment since June 1, 2015. Our center continues its activities with a staff of two instructors.
